Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu is a water jutsu that, given its name and ability, is arguably the signature technique of the Hidden Mist Village, despite shinobi from another village, like Kakashi Hatake, knowing it. It works by the user taking a certain stance and using their chakra to create a thick mist to conceal them and allow them to attack their opponent unseen. If a water source is nearby it can used to create this mist by the user. Zabuza Momochi was so skilled at using this jutsu that he could render Kakashi Hatake's Sharingan completely useless in their second fight. Shinobi from the Hidden Mist Village known to use this jutsu can sue it together with the village's Silent Kiling style of combat to extra deadly to their enemies, with Zabuza being one such example. As stated by Itachi Uchiha, the Hidden Mist Jutsu is also a very effective technique to prevent an enemy from casting a genjutsu if they don't have Sharingan.
